Public Launch of the European Pact for Skills in Tourism
We are happy to share with you today's public launch of the European Pact for Skills in Tourism. 59 organizations and entities from European tourism umbrella associations - amongst them Ruraltour and three of our members - , vocational education and training providers, trade unions and destinations have set up this large-scale skills partnership for the EU tourism ecosystem.
As partner in the NTG Alliance, we have been strongly involved in the preparation of the baseline document for this partnership. It specifically stresses the need of improved training opportunities for very small tourism services like rural tourism and their involvement in decision making.
