Results of Public Consultation on Short-Term Rentals (STR) published

 
At the end of last year, a public consultation on a possible EU framework for the regulation of the "short-term rentals (STR)" was conducted by the European Commission. The term STR refers to the type of accommodation services that are most frequent in Rural Tourism: private rooms and holiday rentals. Ruraltour informed about this consultation, and invited all interested to participate.
 
A total of 5696 replies was received. From the replies by hosts, 32,5% offer their services in rural areas - this means that our sector is well represented.
