The Estonian Dairy Museum in Imavere takes you on a journey through the history of Estonian dairy farming. The museum offers the joy of discovery to visitors of all ages, both children and those interested in the history of Estonian rural life and food culture. With us, you can prepare the favourite snack of Estonians of all ages – the glazed curd snack. One glazed curd snack has all you need – the snack that consists of curd, butter, and chocolate is very nutritious. The selection in the shops is plentiful, but homemade is still better!
Participation in the workshop includes an excursion to the Estonian Dairy Museum. You will dress up as a dairy worker and learn to make curd snacks, which are later tasted. The programme lasts for 90 minutes. Suitable for every age group. Please let the us know of your wish to take part in the workshop a week in advance.
