Duration: Approximately 5-6 hours

We invite you to Dzūkija to experience this unique adventure at "Grikutis" homestead in Pamerkiai village, Varėna district. The canoeing route is approximately 18 km long.

Upon arrival at the homestead, participants leave their belongings and cars and, most importantly, reserve their beds or set up tents for the night. Before the trip, teams receive task sheets and are transported to the starting point. After paddling back to the homestead, all participants are treated to a special soup, and the winners are awarded.

After a well-deserved rest, a guided walk leads to an oak tree, a historic hiding place for Lithuanian press during serfdom times. What Dzūkians hide today—you will have to find out for yourself.

In the evening, guests can relax in the hot tub and traditional Dzūkian sauna, enjoy a bonfire, sing Dzūkian folk songs, and play traditional games. The next morning, a special Grikutis pancake breakfast awaits.
