Cyprus Agrotourism Company established by the Cyprus Tourism Organization in 1996 in order to develop and promote the agrotourism as a new holiday experience in the island of Cyprus. The Company is a non profit limited company under the Deputy Ministry of Tourism and is a body dealing exclusively with holidays in the Cyprus countryside. Today we are happy to announce that the company has more 150 members from all over the island who offer tourists services. Our members are owners of traditional accommodation and boutique hotels, wine makers, producers of traditional products, artists, private tour guides, owners of farms , thematic parks and botanists who have their own fields etc. The traditional accommodation and activities are located near the coast of Larnaka and Pafos regions and in the foothills of the Troodos Mountains, covering Limassol and Nicosia regions. All the accommodations offering high standard services. Have fully equipped kitchens, wi-fi, showers/bathrooms etc. in some cases provide swimming pools and fire places, air-conditioning, gardens, stone yards, beautiful balconies and outdoor furniture under the vine shades. Guests always have their privacy and the owners are not staying in the same unit, although they are always available to help their guests. The boutique hotels offer hotel services. In some cases have spa facilities, restaurants etc. Most of the houses are self-catering and some of them offer traditional breakfast, or the visitors have the option of dine in one of the village taverns. By staying in one of the villages one has the opportunity to explore the beautiful nature of Cyprus, flora and fauna, to meet the locals and listen to their stories, to visit the wineries and follow the wine routes, to dine in the local taverns and taste the delicious Cypriot food, to walk and discover, bike and discover. We also provide information about all these activities, like hiking, cycling, cooking classes and where you can find some traditional products (sweets, crafts etc) .
